This explains what DelsonsTech Repairs does with the information you share when you message the workshop on WhatsApp, call us, or bring a device in for repair. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who is responsible

The website collects nothing

delsonstech.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no tracking pixels and has no contact form. You can read every page without giving us anything or being counted.

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block abuse. That is standard infrastructure logging and we do not use it to identify or profile visitors.

What we collect when you message us

Messaging the workshop on WhatsApp is the point at which we receive information about you. That is:

  • Your WhatsApp phone number and the profile name shown on your account.
  • The messages you send — typically the device you own and what is wrong with it.
  • Any details you give to book a drop-off, such as the name the repair should be recorded under.

When you bring a device in, we additionally record what is needed to carry out and stand behind the repair: the device, the reported fault, the work done, the price agreed, and photographs of the device's condition at intake where those are taken.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, bank details, card numbers, or the passwords and passcodes for your devices.

An automated assistant answers first

Messages to our WhatsApp number are answered initially by an automated assistant. It handles repair price ranges, opening hours, directions and drop-off bookings. It does not make decisions about you; it looks up answers and passes anything else to a person.

When a conversation needs a human, the assistant forwards your name, your WhatsApp number and the fault you described to the workshop so somebody can reply to you directly.

Why we hold it, and for how long

We use this information to answer your enquiry, quote and carry out a repair, tell you when your device is ready, and honour the 90-day warranty on work we have done. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Retention

  • Automated conversation state — the assistant's short-term memory of where you are in a conversation expires automatically after about six hours.
  • WhatsApp conversations — remain in the workshop's WhatsApp account in the ordinary way.
  • Repair records — kept for as long as the device is with us and then for the warranty period, plus any longer period required by Nigerian tax and company law.

Who else processes it

  • Meta Platforms — WhatsApp carries the messages themselves, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare — hosts the website and runs the automated assistant.
  • 234&That — the studio that built and maintains the website and assistant, with access limited to keeping them working.

Nobody else receives your information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or other repair businesses.

Your rights, and deleting your data

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it.

To make any of those requests, message +234 906 201 9930 or call 0708 402 5690 and say what you want done. We will confirm it with you and act on it within 30 days.

On a deletion request we remove your conversation and the contact details we hold. We may need to keep a minimal record of a completed repair where law requires it, or where a warranty on work we did is still running — if that applies to you we will tell you what is being kept and why.

Deleting a WhatsApp conversation on your own phone does not remove it from ours, so please ask us directly if that is what you want.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
